Missionaries remembered in prayer & support brings us

During a day of ministry, a team of believers was confronted by a drunken man. Shouting and screaming at them, he
told them to go away and never come down that street again. The team left peacefully but prayed that God would
give them an open door to the people living on the “forbidden” street.
The next day the team returned and found the man waiting for them once more. Again he refused to let them go down the street. “He screamed bad things at us, and his looks were pure evil,” a team member says.
When the team returned the third day, the man was gone. Taking the opportunity, the group went down the street to share the gospel with residents. One family in particular showed a deep hunger for their message.
“They were very poor, and their house was falling apart,” says a team member. “After we spoke to them, the entire family prayed to accept Christ. When we asked if we could pray for their needs, the mother cried. She said her heart was heavy because of their poverty and the needs of the children. We prayed and the peace of God overtook her heart. This time she wept tears of joy.”
Before they left, the team gave the family money for their immediate needs and has since asked others to help. “We were filled with great joy that God allowed us to share His love with others,” the team members say.
The team is part of Hosanna Plan, a church planting initiative in Pentecostal Union. Young people with Hosanna Plan commit one year to evangelism in unreached areas of the nation. Please keep them in your prayers.
